Please be aware that while the OPTICA template specifies that “no more than three figures should generally be included in the paper,” we are accepting papers with any number of figures. Authors are permitted to utilize either the US Letter or A4 format for their submissions.
Please note that the submission site administered by OPTICA is currently under construction and experiencing a significant delay. As a result, the submission deadline has been extended to June 19, 2023.

The papers submitted will undergo a thorough double-blind review process by the TPC Members of OFS. Notification regarding the acceptance status will be sent to the authors in August.
Update as of June 18: In response to the considerable number of requests we have received for a deadline extension, and taking into account the previous extension that was necessitated by the malfunction of OPTICA’s submission site, we have made the decision to grant an additional extension for paper submissions. The new deadline is set for 23:59 (EDT), June 28, 2023. We would like to emphasize that this deadline is firm, and no further extensions will be granted. Any submissions received after this deadline will be encouraged to be submitted as post-deadline papers, with further instructions to be communicated at a later date.
Update as of June 5: We are pleased to announce that the technical issues have been successfully resolved. The submission site is now fully operational and accessible through the link above!
Update as of June 1: We regret to inform you that despite ongoing efforts, the submission site continues to experience operational malfunctions. The OPTICA team is working tirelessly to address these issues, but we acknowledge that significant delays and inconveniences persist.
Update as of May 28: We are aware of the issues that have been identified within the submission site, and the OPTICA team is diligently working to rectify these problems. We anticipate that the site will be fully operational by around June 1, allowing you to submit your papers without any further hindrance.
