Oral Presentation Guidelines

  • Slide Formatting: We strongly recommend utilizing a widescreen 16:9 slide format for your presentation. Slides not adhering to this format will be displayed at a reduced size.
  • Utilizing Personal Computers (Highly Recommended): We advise presenters to use their own laptops for the presentation, connected via HDMI. Please note that no adapters will be provided on-site; ensure you bring any necessary adapters compatible with your laptop. Additionally, it is prudent to carry a USB drive containing a backup of your presentation material.
  • Utilizing Conference-Provided Computers: Alternatively, presenters have the option to use the Windows PCs available in each presentation room. If opting for this, please upload your presentation material from a USB drive to the designated PC during the break preceding your session.
  • Time Allocation: Each standard presentation is allocated a 15-minute time slot. We suggest that the slide presentation itself should not exceed 12 minutes, reserving the remaining 3 minutes for audience questions. Invited speakers are advised to allocate approximately 5 minutes for questions.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

  • Recommended Poster Size: We advise using an A0-sized poster with dimensions not exceeding a width of 1000 mm. The recommended width is 841 mm.
  • Mounting: Pins will be provided for securing your poster to the board.
  • Poster Number: Your assigned poster number will be listed in the conference program and displayed on the poster board.
  • Printing: Presenters are responsible for printing and bringing their own posters, as no printing services will be provided by the conference organizers.
  • Session Attendance: At least one author must be present at the poster during the poster session to answer questions from attendees.
